Colin Flecken, age 80, a resident of Glen Ellyn, IL, died July 24, 2012, at home. He was born July 1, 1932 in London, England.

Colin met May Price in London and they were married on July 16, 1955 in Bellwood, IL. They lived in Berkeley, IL until they moved to Glen Ellyn in 1993.

He enjoyed life and loved to travel, having visited over 100 countries. He was a scuba diver, sky diver, and golfer. He loved to work on home projects for his family. He also enjoyed following the Chicago Cubs and Bears.

He is survived by his wife, May Flecken of Glen Ellyn, two daughters, Melodie Waters and Tammie (Brian) Peterson, his grandchildren, Malynda (Daniel), Tanya (Jeffrey), Michael Jr., Brandon (Kim), Mark, Andrew and Matthew, and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Landon and Charlie.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4 to 9 pm at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL. Private interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery.
